A Partnership for Student Reengagement and Academic Success
The "Connected 2 U" program, an initiative under EduConnected, is designed to support schools in reconnecting with students who have been absent for over three weeks, have either no current grades or low grades, and are at risk of falling behind due to a lack of credits. Recognizing that circumstances for student absences vary, "Connected 2 U" provides a structured yet flexible solution to ensure that students stay on track toward graduation.
How It Works:
- School Referral – Schools identify students who meet the program criteria and refer them to EduConnected for academic and support services.
- Customized Learning Plan – EduConnected works with the student, family, and school to create a structured plan for coursework completion.
- Flexible Learning Support – Tutors and educators assist students in completing coursework on days and times that fit their needs, ensuring learning continuity.
- Credit Recovery & Completion – Students submit completed coursework within the school’s required timeframe, earning the necessary credits for graduation.
- Comprehensive Support Services – EduConnected connects students to additional resources such as career counseling, trade schools, housing assistance, and more to ensure long-term success.
